If you’re looking for the most powerful of the Tripath mini-amps, this is it. With the LX-22s, it puts out a full 15dB more volume at 1% THD than the original Lepai LP-2020A+ and even puts the newer Kinter K2020A+ and Lepai LP-2020TI to shame.

The only “downside” is that the powersupply is basically a laptop brick. That said, if you’re looking for quality amplification, you’ll likely see that as a good thing. =)
